Basingstoke is a great place to live. It’s just an hour from London but it has the feel of a small town. People who live here love it because it’s so diverse and friendly. In addition there are several art galleries including The Basing House Gallery & Studios which features an eclectic mix of paintings, sculptures and ceramics by local artists as well as regular exhibitions.
Basingstoke is an ideal location to live. It is a town with a great community spirit and a friendly atmosphere. It has excellent schools, some of the best hospitals in the country and a wide range of leisure facilities.

- Basingstoke has its own music festival – called The Basingstoke Music Festival – which takes place every year over two days each May Bank Holiday weekend at various venues around town including The Anvil Centre and The Winter Gardens (pictured right).
